Our evolution

1991-2005
We made ourselves ready for our mission to support the development of the legal market and professional services firms. How? We studied law in different countries; we provided legal services; contributed to the international legal cooperation; we participated in legal reforms; we published articles; we worked as legal experts in numerous research projects; we built our network.

2005
Legal Studies.RU was founded in Moscow with the aim to contribute to the development of Russian and CIS legal and professional services market.

2005
Our first law firm management seminar took place in Moscow, followed by a series of seminars in all subsequent years in Moscow, Kiew, Minsk, Almaty, St.Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Ekaterinburg, and in many other cities.

2007
First IBA Law Firm Management Conference in Moscow co-organised by Legal Studies.RU, followed by the next six years of cooperation.

2008
Our first Master-class on law firm management in Ukraine, followed by 11 years of Master-classes taking place in Amsterdam, Berlin, Paris, London, New York, Zurich, Brussels and Barcelona.

2010
Collection of the documents on Legal Profession in the Netherlands has been translated in Russian and published with the support of the Center for International Legal cooperation.

2011
We expand to Europe, and in 2011 Legal Stratagency GmbH was founded in Berlin to serve European clients and to promote cooperation with Russian-speaking markets.

2017
On-line LS Knowledge Base on law firm management and professional legal skills has been launched to support law firm leaders in their management tasks.

LS Studies is incorporated with the mission to contribute to the global development of legal systems and legal certainty by raising the quality of professional legal services across jurisdictions and supporting the most up-to-date legal studies.
